Individual therapy
In addition to full programme Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, we also offer individual therapy. This therapy draws on our Dialectical Behaviour Therapy training and expertise in helping individuals find balance within their lives, reduce stress and tackle problematic behaviours. We work with adults and adolescents to develop an understanding of the difficulties they are experiencing and find practical and emotional ways of coping differently.
We are able to offer individual therapy to people experiencing a number of different difficulties including: - Anger - Self-harm - Stress - Depression - Anxiety - Post traumatic stress disorder
We work particularly well with individuals who may have accessed other forms of therapy (e.g. CBT) but have not found it beneficial. DBT focuses on teaching skills and learning practical strategies to manage emotions. We welcome enquiries from individuals both with and without psychiatric diagnosis.
